Güreli Paves the Way for University Education at 49 Turkish Liras

Hüsnü Güreli, chairman of Baker Tilly Güreli (Turkey) and former
board member of Beşiktaş Football Club, has joined the board of
trustees at Işık University. Founded 125 years ago, Işık University
is a foundation university with around 2,400 students.
A former graduate of the university himself, one of Güreli's
first accomplishments as chairman is securing a long term education
loan with one of Turkey's premium banks that provides students with
the opportunity to study at Işık for 49 Turkish Lira (approximatley
US$30) a month. The average tution fee for a foundation university
is around 15,000-20,000 Turkish Lira a year.
The loan offers low interest rates and the re-payment term of
the capital starts after graduation.
