ParenteBeard LLC Announces Combination with McCrory & McDowell, LLC

Philadelphia-based ParenteBeard LLC, the largest CPA firm headquartered in Pennsylvania, USA, and an independent member of Baker Tilly International, and McCrory & McDowell, LLC, one of the largest Pittsburgh based accounting and consulting firms, announced today they will combine practices, effective 1 June 2011. This combination expands the firm's Pittsburgh presence, creating the largest single office for the firm which will operate under the name ParenteBeard.

Established in 1951, McCrory & McDowell brings 11 partners and 70 team members to the combined practice. Both firms provide comprehensive audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to large and small companies in a wide variety of industries. Additionally, McCrory & McDowell's Dewey & Kaye division, the region's largest non-profit consulting group, provides specialised consulting services to non-profit organisations, including strategic planning and executive search.
