Baker Tilly International Announces Expansion in Japan

Baker Tilly International has strengthened its coverage in Japan by adding a leading Tokyo based firm, Nihombashi Corporation, to the network effective immediately.

Founded in 1952, the firm delivers a range of audit services through its 12 partners and 40 professional staff. Their distinguished client list includes household names along with many multinational corporations with foreign subsidiaries. The firm’s chairman, Katsushi Kuroda, is one of the country’s prominent figures on audit standards and is currently the vice chairman of the Board of Discipline Review of the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA). In addition to this Mr Kuroda is an internal auditor of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Previously he was a vice chairman of the JIPCA.
